My name is Anne, and from 2018-2023, I lived in Cambridge, England. I was launched here following an undergrad degree and childhood in the western US, ostensibly to get a PhD in Plant Sciences–which I did–but I was there just as much to get to know this place that is so staggeringly old and yet was still new to me.
The career path I’m walking is ecologist and academic, but the thing I told myself when I decided to study science–that I could always write–has stayed lodged in my mind/heart and is surfacing here on this blog: written forays into the corners of this place.
